VISITOR MAP: ALMOND VALLEY HERITAGE TRUST
Recently completed commission for the Almond Valley Heritage Trust near Livingston. The historic location features
a working watermill and lade with museum, farm animal enclosures, train and tractor rides and extensive play areas.
Located alongside the scenic river Almond the centre spans 23 acres of natural, built and cultural heritage nestled in
lush green fields and meadows and is popular with historians and young families alike.
The brief required the map to attract visitors and to help them find their way around the site. Research was required
in order to create the map including a tour of the site, walking the ground to get a feel for the place and to record
images and video. The map had to include existing brand identity and has been integrated into their website,
marketing literature and on signage.
"What a wonderful job you've done.
You've really captured the essence of Almond Valley..."

Jenny, Coombes Director, Almond Valley Heritage Trust.
