Fort Douglas Adventure Playground Map

FORT DOUGLAS ADVENTURE PLAYGROUND MAP: DALKEITH COUNTRY PARK

Recently completed commission for Buccleugh Estate Country Park in Dalkeith Midlothian. The park features a large

outdoor adventure playground called Fort Douglas which is very popular with family visitors and a flagship attraction

at the park. I was very pleased to be given the opportunity to produce a digital illustrated map of this attraction which

coincided with the development of their new website.

The brief required the map to attract visitors to the location, highlight key attractions and help them navigate the park

on arrival. Extensive research was required in order to create the map including a lengthy walk through

the site recording images and video. The map had to conform with the existing Fort Douglas brand identity

for integration into the website, printed literature and signage throughout the estate.
